A few months ago, ModMyi covered an upcoming tweak called RecognizeMe . This tweak allows you to unlock your iDevice through facial recognition on the lock screen using the iPhone 4 / iPod 4 camera (eventually the iPad 2 upon a official jailbreak release). It has been out for some time and has had positive reception.

Due to the amount of coding and components of the iDevice used, RecognizeMe is a premium application and comes at a cost - $9.99. When it first released, it was available for $6.99 on Cydia for a few short days but then was bumped up to $9.99. To commemorate July 4th and summer fun, Chris Simpson (@apocolipse269) has stated that RecognizeMe will be available for only $3.99 on Cydia for the next three weeks. Go grab it now and give it a whirl.

Your "most amazing security app" is a simple timer that powers off the phone? [sarcasm]Brilliant![/sarcasm]

Considering that your app is, as of yet, nonexistent, your comment that RecognizeMe is "far away from where it's ever gonna be" seems a bit hypocritical. The words "put up or shut up" come to mind. I'm not even going to get into the obvious flaws your app will have right out of the gate (hint: accidental button presses). To the point, if your app does exactly what you say it will do, it will be completely worthless.
