  • iTunes 10.2.1 Today, iOS 4.3 Tomorrow?

Apple has just released iTunes 10.2.1, yes that's right, only 1 week after 10.2. Oddly enough I had to open up the Apple Software Update app to get the update to appear.

While the release notes state the exact same as they did with iTunes 10.2, we can only imagine that someone forgot something important to include before the release of iOS 4.3 to the public.

Earlier this morning rumor had it that iOS 4.3 was going to be released today, but after reviewing the buzz and this release of iTunes 10.2.1, it makes much more sense that tomorrow would be more logical, so don't give up hope yet on an early release.

As always, exercise caution when dealing with new iOS updates.

I wasn't yelling at you. I was just typing in caps so that it would catch people's eye as they were scrolling through, so that they would not ask again.

Sorry if you took it that way.

Any idea as to why the tethering is only available on the iPhone 4, and why you have to purchase an additional data plan just to allow it? Seems dumb, other providers and manufacturers don't force that upon you; cough..droid.

hey, i just used pwnage tool to jailbreak my iphone 4 on 4.2.1, and itunes did something really weird when I started it. it put both the original and the custom ipsw in the trash. I never left the original in the Library/itunes/iphone software updates folder while jailbreaking before. Was that my mistake? I guess I can just drag it out but I dont really trust it now that itunes messed with it. Has anybody seen this before?

I own a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo 1100 and I have a folder on my NAS (network attach storage) named MUSIC where I keep all my music, apps and an iTunes folder there too. I have changed it in Edit > Preferences, Advanced tab in the Preferences window toward my NAS (ZMusic\iTunes mapped as a network drive), but updating the iTunes Library and files in CUsers\xxxxxxx\Music\iTunes (Windows 7) and not my NAS it is on all times.

Any help how to get it to locate it to My NAS Drive? I had it working pretty perfect until the new iTunes update. Apple Why!

I've posted this on Various forums, inculding iTunes and ilounge nobody has replied this is my final resort.

I think outside the US carriers may not charge for this service, maybe thats why he is not worried about it. Thats all I can make of it.
