    MXTube, created by 16 year old Max Weas and Pumpkin, lets you search YouTube and download the videos directly to your iPhone. Supports multiple downloads, and works a treat.

    Good job guys.

    Last I checked Max's site was down, but its www.mxweas.com.

    Available via Installer.

      mine downloads files that are smaller than around 15-20MB perfectly, but for larger files it stops at around 80% and then it shows like it was downloaded(but it is not full).
      Is this the fix for my problem?


      Perform these commands in Terminal and it wont crash...

      cd /Applications
      chmod +s MxTube.app/MxTube
      chown root:wheel MxTube.app

      I really think I entered the commands in terminal right, still crashes on anything 35 and up. I mean freezes, phone shuts off, gotta use finder to delete...etc. BUT its new I guess we just wait for an update...

      crashes a lot when doanloading it crashes and the video doesnt play full but stops

      i downloaded this on my iphone and kept getting cannot play video and now my ipod fuction doesnt work
      how can i fix this

      great work, I tried it and downloaded some clips, but I never got the complete clip. It just simply stops and I come up with non-complete downloads.

      Depends on the size of the file, but sometimes I get a couple of minutes worth, other times its only 40 seconds or something.
      Plays like normal, but stops at whatever time. The sound carries on for a few seconds more and then stops too.

      I'm running 1.1.4 - and havent had any crashing... just no fully downloaded High Quality clips. The couple of Low Quality ones I've tried have been fine though.

      I have one full quality clip but sometimes the app crashes on startup!

      It works... but their are quite a few bugs, such as not being able to fully download video's, and "Cannot play video." But overall, I have to say that this is one of the best apps I have used!

      Installed MxTube on 1.1.3 and works great. Searches and downloads videos no problem.

      But now when I go to regular YouTube, I get an error "cannot connect to YouTube". I installed the "YouTube fix" from installer, and also tried to reset network settings, but nothing seems to work.

      Never had a problem with YouTube before. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?
