I think its fake especially since they said that they wont have the stupid 3.5mm recessed plug, and when you look at the picture it shows it dipping down and this also looks photoshoped phones in real life dont shine like this.

thats not the 3g thats the original iphone with the black case cover mod =(

I am 99% sure this is the new iphone. Unlike the black case mod, this has the iphone info with capacity and serial number on the back.

Also notice there is no line like the black case mod. Its all one solid piece.

This is obviously a hoax. First, Apple has never done some crappy spray paint job where the apple logo is recessed into the craptastic paint. Second, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, hold up your iPhone and slant it backwards.... Now imagine you only took a picture of the top half so there is no depth perception. Oh, wow, it's the new iPhone!! The obvious reason why there is only half a picture! Booo!

whoever that was the effing retard to send such a pic to mmi, was really dumb, if u look at this thread < Google Image Result for http://www.iphonic.tv/ccphone_black.png >from some website, u wil notice its the exact pic as the one above, the one above is cropped.

I've been using photoshop since Photoshop 3, no CS3, 3. I'm am pretty damn sure that it's photoshopped by someone, kid. Don't test ME with your rubbish.

If you look at your iPhone, then at the picture, you will see that the "recessed jack" has been adressed.

Do you have your iPhone at hand? Hold it up to the computers screen like in the picture. And then flip the upper side of your phone to the screen untill the Headphone jack looks like in the picture. It is EXACTLY the same!
No 3G iPhone here.

Haha yup i am sure they do... But I must say... Its not just a phone its a completely modable device (thanks hackers)! lol

About the 3G!!! I have been living in Europe for about 14 years -- (Italy, UK, Germany). We have had 3g for some time now and I can say its not used much. In fact I dont know many people that do use it. What i found i that the video conferencing is very slow and choppy. Downloading from phone servers is a bit faster but nothing like when I am connected to WiFi even at isdn speed. I am also wondering how practicle the video conferencing will be unless there is a second camera on the front of the iPhone as well (like some Nokias/Mot's).

I have decided that while I am a gadget freak i will stay with my current 16g iPhone. It has done me good. Unless, Apple made the battery accessable...NOT! :-(

One last unrelated note--- I can proudly say that the iPhone withstood the extreme harsh environments of Afghanistan..(sand storms etc...) and yup no scratches on the screen!! :-)

Don't know much about the 3g market, but I'm with you on your other 2 points.

I'm going to stick with my 16 gig for awhile. Unless the new iPhone gives us MMS, video recording, blah blah etc etc., which I doubt it will.

This phone has been threw 2 water drownings as well and still kicking.

I'm sure the new iPhone will look sexy though. Apple does know how to put out a good looking product.

No 3G iPhone here.

Are we looking at the same picture?! I have to tilt the H*** out of my phone to get the same look as the black one. Its still a little recessed, but it looks VERY different to me.

He's right - it's not a photoshop or a pic of the new iPhone, just a pic found online thats been cropped.

the picture of the iphone on the keyboard was proven to be a case by engadget, which shows that every possibl thing is "photoshopeed" to you lot, just accept that this si all speculation and that these may be fakes or the real deal, but aple specifically said they would change a few more things on there 2nd gen iphone other than just the 3g chipset, apple is pretty predictable of late so open ur mind, i mean at least one "leaked" picture is realesed to the press everyday of some up and coming device, i mean ever HTC and palm has been leaked at least a few months before release and yet u all accept that but when it comes to the iphone ur all crying fowl because ur convinvced apples 3g iphone will be so awsome that it cant possibly be the any of the pictures released so far, i think u all getting carried away by the awe and hype

^ awe and hype which will end up having many people here sorely disappointed, in my opinion.
