AND DEV TEAM SAID THEY HAVE FOUND EXPLOITS ON THE NEW BOOTLOADER,

THIS IS THE WPRD FROM THE DEV TEAM

Unlocking a 1.1.2 OOTB (out of the box) phone is currently impossible with software-only solutions, due to the new 4.6 bootloader. An exploit in this bootloader has been found, but the secpack from 1.1.3 is required to use it. If 1.1.3 introduces a baseband update, the secpack can be extracted from that (if 1.1.3 does not introduce a baseband update, then we'll have to wait until one is introduced).

AND U DEV HAS FOUND OUT + GIZMIDO HAVE FOUND OUT THAT 1.1.3 INTRODUCES A NEW BASEBAND...SO..YEAH....

So why would I want to trade my games, and awesome third party apps for that? I think Ill wait. If they come up with an easy jailbreak for this version THEN I will update.

Well if your iphone is already jailbroken its gonna be easy. If your iphone isn't then just downgrade to 1,1,1 jailbreak using the *#307# method then install OKTOPREP then update back to 1.1.2 then jailbreak using 1-1-2 jailbreak.

1.1.3 will have full unlock as standard given that locking them only creates a new hurdle for hackers, and EU laws causing many legal battles*.

*In now way is this true, but apple if you are reading this you know it makes sense

But Right Now The Only Question Is That, Will The Turbosim Method Still Work With The New Firmware? Because Apple UPDATED The Baseband.

Not That Its Gonna Affect Me Because I Have A Otb 1.1.2 Iphone Just Waiting To Be Unlocked.

Hmmm, I'm reading some negative comments from other forums on this.

      Namely this comment:

People need to simmer their hopes down a bit. Even a new secpack doesn't mean a new unlock is coming. If you read the posts about the bootloader reversing, the new bootloader does a full signature check on any baseband software loaded into the modem ON EACH BOOT. This is important to remember.

Bootloader 3.9 signature checked the firmware when it was flashed. The dev team exploited a bug in the 3.9 firmware that allowed them to bypass this signature check and thus upload a binary patched and unlocked baseband.

With 4.6 checking at each boot, even if you can get the patched baseband into the modem, you still have to deal with the fact that as soon as you reboot the iPhone the bootloader will "enter brick state" your phone when it sees your baseband isn't signature correct.

Honestly - if I had to guess, I'd say 1.1.2 OTB iPhones may never actually get fully unlocked. At least not with the ease of anySIM on 3.9 equipped devices.

I'd say the most likely route to an unlock for new phones exists in discovering the proper NCK unlock against unpatched basebands. Geohot has some info on this and it looks a little more promising than any anySIM style unlocks.

We just don't know at this time how these phones will unlock going forward. If the iPhone really will do a full check on the baseband on every single boot, then we need another angle!

Well with all of this talking about unlocking 1.1.2 and 1.1.3, is there any possible way that people with iPhones and AT&T could jailbreak 1.1.3?
