Many of you are aware we were down this entire weekend.

We were scheduled to move to a new server with a new data center early this week. Our server admin, Greg (known as darklordexp on the site) had just moved into his new house (as in the day before), and he and his family returned home from grocery shopping to find the house had burned down.

Although all our data was saved, and we lost nothing other than time, its been an incredibly rough week for Greg - he lost everything. Thankfully, his fiancee and children are unhurt, which is what matters, when it comes down to it.

We're on the new box now, and will be adding more servers soon, so you should continue to see highly improved response times and page loads on the ModMy family sites.

Our thoughts go out to Greg and his family, as we are a week away from Christmas - a rough time for a blow this big. Thanks for all your work, Greg, it means a lot, and I pray your family will have a great Christmas even with the current circumstances!

It is not our policy to publicly set up donation campaigns due to some past situations, but if you would like to contribute, visit the following link: http://explicit-hosting.com/payeh.php?fname=mmi. Thanks.

I appreciate MMI , I really do and I will donate to the server cause as I do to many things here as I appreciate the effort. Generally people think of me as a hard *** SO... and I probably am. But from someone who has been on the street with nothing but the closes on my back, couldn't we set up a donation thing for Greg and family ?

I would really like to thank everyone for their support. We are slowly getting back on our feet. Currently the only thing we must worry about is Christmas for the kids.

I deeply thank those that sent donations which we purchased clothes and other household items with which were lost in the fire.

Today someone donated to us 2 kittens for the children to help them cope with the 3 pets we lost in the fire. The children seem much happier.

By the way this is Kim, Gregs fiancee, and I am so grateful for everything.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!

For those that would like to help please click the link in the main post.

Once again thanks for all the kindness

Nope, we're more than capable of paying for our servers. This is just about a family in need.

I feel very bad for you, I my self was evacuated, but thankfully the fire stopped right before it reached the big vegetation. I hope you had insurance to pay for most of your stuff back, have a wonderful holiday and dont remember any of these bad memories ruin this holiday season, God bless you

Guys, I would like to thank you all again for your help.

      Everyone has been so helpful.

Now, as the Landlord is retaining our money(illegally as far as I know), we are still in a jamb, and any help you all can do, will really be appreciated.

As soon as we are settled, I will be taking any further funds, and pushing them directly to the local Red Cross, and churches who have helped us.

You all have been amazing. I hope that with the help of all of you, and others, we will be able to get past this month, with relatively decent stability.

      Thank you all.
