For those of you who weren't sure how to use AFP, or what it was, we've got a new guide up. For OS X users this pretty much negates the need for any 3rd party apps while accessing your iPhone.
well cool
got it to work
took a couple of connection attempts, but got in!
now, how do i add/change wallpapers and stuff from there?
i have all my custom icons etc. in a folder, i want to install the on phone
i could not manage to do so with customize? it just crashes when i click on the alternate logos.
should be easier from here with the direct connect
but what is it listed under?
prefs, framework,library,private/library? cant find it
school me please
What? Look at the guide, you don't go to the site to download the source, you add it from Installer. That URL IS the source, you add it in the Installer app, NOT plug it into Safari.

ok so every time i try to do it it wont connect and says connection failed any help? i am connected to wifi on both my phone and mac and typed the correct ip...
Why do people keep asking this? Clearly this states this is for Macs. There are other options for Windows, and I'm sure something similar will be out soon enough. Must have patience, Danielson....
OK....Did this manually thru the TUAW link a few days ago...very kewl....worked fine...Now, however, when I try and connect I get an "error -36" message, and cannot access...Any thoughts? WiFi is fine...I.P. # is correct......

What options other than SSH? I dont have access to wifi. Is there something I can use that I can just hook up to the computer via USB?
