And I broke the outlet in my house the first time I plugged the adapter in

^^Good job. Apple recalls the adaptor because its subject to breakage....and what do you do instead, break the outlet with the faulty adaptor. LOL.

Dont think Apple will warranty that

i thought the law states that.... coupons have expiration date...not credits though...am i right?

for example: i had a credit with Amazon almost two years ago...finally used it last week to get the BlueAnt SuperTooth 3...and it went thru....btw, loving the blueant now...the Text To Speech feature is awesome.

Do you have to send in/ Return the old adapter?

I want to keep mine, I always lose it and it'd be nice to have an extra one.

Woo hoo, just did mine. It took all of 30 seconds. Here's what the confirmation page says:

      Thank you.
Your replacement request has been submitted. Apple will send you a new power adapter to the address below, along with instructions for how to return your original power adapter to us.

It is very important to return the original power adapter to Apple. We will provide you with pre-paid shipping materials for the return.

Your new adapter will ship in approximately 3 weeks.

Please print this page or save a PDF copy. A copy of this page will be your only record. You will not receive a confirmation email.
Great, mine will ship in approx. 3 weeks, meaning another 3 biz days for it to get here after that. Also I can't help but wonder... what happens if you don't return the old supply?

it says it is veryimportant to send it back. But they ship you the new one first, then you send them the old one. SO just say you forgot...but if it does break and something bad happens, its your fault.
