  • New iPhone Coming in 4 Storage Capacities, from 4GB to 32GB
It seems that the rumor mill won't be silenced... But this one seems to be from a trusted source.

The rumor has it that PCS Type Review Certification Board, which certifies handsets for use with carriers such as AT&T has approved upcoming iPhone model and that too in FOUR capacities i.e 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB as compared to current 8GB and 16GB model. This even increases the credibility of the rumor about a $99 iPhone this summer.

This rumor game has been driving the people crazy since many weeks for now, especially as WWDC keynote gets closer. It has become hard to understand what to believe and what not!

Hope that all this chaos soon ends with the WWDC

I would take the 16 4giggers because I would hope at least one of them would get my slingplayer to work remotely . LOL.

I would think 4gb would be good for the people who dont need the iphone as a Video or MP3 device and would only use it for the phone and apps .

if you read abit more about where the pictures came from (TIP; go to macrumours.com) then you would understand why.

As I recall, the blog said, "the pictures are of an unreleased prototype iPhone, my friend who gave me the phone said I could post pictures aslong as they were blurred"

      So there's you answer :-)

I would be kind of shocked if they brought back the 4gb storage to the iPhone, that seemed to get phased out SUPER fast. Hopefully there is a hardware update (more than just storage) this time around, else I don;t think it will be worth it.

I felt out the rumors until I was pretty certain about it, but if one doesn't come out, sucks for me

I did the same thing last year. I "upgraded" and got money in my pocket my doing this. No worries...

Just different in storage capacity. Not a big deal. I can't even fill up my 8gb unless I sync ALL my music, including crappy stuff I rarely listen to. So this is a good move. People who wants to buy the iPhone and already have an ipod touch can get the smaller 4gb.

Microsoft seems to have a hard on and alot of cash, generally a productive combination...........do you still think Sony is tops?

Yeh, PS3 does blow away 360 but the new PSP sucked.
Anyway enough of Sony and Microsoft before the admins get moody and start deleting anything unrelated to the topic!

Ps3 has garbage games, anyways let me get that 32GB iPhone unless of course there isn't a difference in hardware besides size of HDD

your not gonna be able to upgrade so easily this time. You might have to pay full price. When the first iPhone came out we all pai full price, so AT&T let you upgrade, but now. That will not be the case according to a AT&T mgr.

Why not? It's just much easier to stream stuff than make a play list that takes an hour to sync. Plus it could hold a bunch of apps and you're all set.

^ Because they wouldn't be saving any money by offering a 4GB version. At a very minimum they will start off at 8GB. I agree tho, I don't use alot of the music on my iphone. I mostly use pandora, and orb.

Biggest gadget of this years is sooo not the new iPhone!!!! It's Playstation 3 and XBox 360 stuff, screw the Wii!!

I think the iPhone's influence in the PSP Go is obvious. When the unit is slid closed the PS button (called "Home button" on the original PSP 1000) is still accessible and the screen remains exposed. This is exactly like an iPod touch/iPhone's setup. I wouldn't doubt it if they either planned a touch screen and got scared away for legal reasons or they still plan one but haven't revealed it yet.

Actually the 3.0 firmware has the battery status showing in percentage now.
