  • AT&T to finally offer the iPhone 3g without a contract!

Looks like AT&T will finally offer the iPhone 3G without a contract (as long as you are already a customer). Activation is NOT required either. Great news and definitely a sign of something new on the horizon.

I woldn't bet on that one.... However, that would be a starting price to see how the inventory move. I agree with others they are getting rid of the inventory so they can give space for new iPhone.

Will they allow you to not get the 2G plan (for those who don;t have 3G in their area yet) this way or will one still be required to go with their iphone 2G plan? If they require a plan I don;t really see getting out of the contract being with it. The ETA is cheaper... LOL
