  • AT&T to finally offer the iPhone 3g without a contract!

Looks like AT&T will finally offer the iPhone 3G without a contract (as long as you are already a customer). Activation is NOT required either. Great news and definitely a sign of something new on the horizon.

      That's good
And the 8Gb one is not much more than the 16Gb costs on O2 here in the UK...

Is that mean you can get an iPhone without contract on other countries in the future?

You've been able to get them without contract in the UK since last year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when they list their upgrade price this is basically including a new two year contract? I would love to get a new 3G at the upgrade price if I did not have to sign another contract.

Does this mean iPhone sales has slowed down?

Or just that they want to get rid of the existing ones before the new model is released....

I got my white 16gb off of ebay for $450 new. There is no way i would pay $699 for an iphone.

I rather sign a two year contract. I will not pay $700 for a phone.
