    iPhone 2.2.1 Software Update

    This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
    • Improved general stability of Safari
    • Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll

      I waited over 2 months for more stability in Safari (which I rarely use) and an issue with saving pictures in Mail that never affected me?!

      WTF is that? I'm not going to even bother upgrading even after jailbreak for 2.2.1 is available. Not worth my time.

      This is weird... so I tried to put an application into the applications folder using diskaid, and when I rebooted my phone it was in recovery mode. I went into diskaid, deleted the app, and rebooted which put me back to the way i was b4 i tried putting that app in. Diskaid doesnt have a way to set permissions so this couldve been the problem, but i thought the app would just crash if i didnt have the right permissions set? Btw iphone 2g fw 2.2.1, duh^

      so i downgraded back to 2.2(i was on a custom 2.2.1, so this was easy) i dunno why i didn't like 2.2.1.. i might give it a try later one.. plus i don't like yellowsn0w 0.9.7 it sux compared to 0.9.6.. with that being said where can i get 0.9.6 ??

      newbe here, i have been reading on the 3g and i assume i still need to wait since there is not a fix for the 3g yet.
      someone correct me if i am wrong but.......
      i just picked up a 3g and the version is 2.2.1 (5H11) and the modem firmware 02.30.03
      i still need to wait before i can use it for T-mobile, right?

      I think the answer is yes you do need to wait for the baseband to be cracked before you can use T-Mobile.

      I'm currently jailbroken on 2.2. I have not downloaded 2.2.1 yet. This will be the first time I am upgrading firmware after a jailbreak. So questions are:

      What is this yellowsnow I keep hearing about? I have a 3g with At&T so do I just need to wait for a custom 2.2.1 firmware to come out??

      I'm confused.

      no u can just make a 2.2.1 ipsw with pwnage, or upgrade then rejailbreak with quickpwn. You're fine if ur on at and t and wont need to unlock
