Following their success getting augmented reality on to the App Store with Metro Paris Subway, PressLight has gotten yet another augmented reality app, London Bus, through Apple's approval process and on to the App Store.
Once again this isn't something developers should* be able to do since Apple isn't planning on releasing the APIs required to access live video to developers until firmware 3.1. PressLite used the same method for success they used with the first augmented reality app Metro Paris Subway. London Bus was a pre-existing application on the App Store and was simply updated with augmented reality features built in.
It's high time that other iPhone developments shops take the hint and start following in PressLite's footsteps -- I'd like to try out one of these augmented reality apps here in the US!
