    So here's a true example of some modding his iDevice... check it out. Josh Darrah, a guy in Australia, actually gutted an iPod Mini and created a whole new casing from wood. The iWood.

    He's got a whole Flickr gallery up showing the process. The guy even made a dock out of wood which the thing sits in.

      This guy is truly a mod making god. The work on this is so clean, I would pay a lot of money to have it done on my iPod.

      This is not very environmental friendly. Imagine when people start to make millions of these, that is a lot of trees they are going to have to kill. But a wooden iPod is still awesome.

      Only problem with that is the modern apple products have tendency to get hot and sometimes catch fire.

      I have never owned anything in the apple ipod family but that craftmanship is excellent a true must have ipod.

      Honestly it really isn't. Look into some case mods people do to video game consoles, computers, etc. and you will see why I wasn;t too impressed.
