  • Mac OS X Snow Leopard's First Update, 10.6.1 released
Seems like the new OS, Snow Leopard was released just yesterday and now there's even an update for it! Makes me think that Apple is really dedicated towards the stability of this OS as that's the only new 'feature' present since Leopard... Weighing at just 75.1 MB, this is the first major security update for the OS.

The update includes a number of bug fixes, including some major issues reported like Printer incompatibility and the flash player being downgraded to a vulnerable version!

Here's a list of the fixes:
    • Improves compatibility with some Sierra Wireless 3G modems
    • Addresses an issue in which some printer compatibility drivers might not appear properly in the Add Printer browser
    • Addresses an issue that might cause DVD playback to stop unexpectedly
    • Addresses an issue that might make it difficult to remove an item from the Dock
    • Resolves an issue in which the Command-Option-T keyboard shortcut would sometimes bring up the special characters menu in applications such as Mail and TextEdit
    • Addresses instances in which auto account setup in Mail might not work
    • Resolves issues when sending mail with certain SMTP servers
    • Addresses an issue in which Motion 4 could become unresponsive
    • Includes an update to Adobe Flash Player plug-in version

I bet that they have already started working on getting the 10.6.2 seeds out real soon! Stay tuned!

      anyone elses update 9.8mb's?

Also, i can't believe people are actually pissed at the dev team lol. I say take you time. We rushed into the 3gs jailbreak, now apple is making it next to impossible to downgrade our 3gs's to 3.0. I rather chill on 3.0 and wait for the release that will last a few weeks or at least a month or so.

I just find it funny how people crap on apple for the bugs that popped up when 10.6 came out...and now they crap on apple for releasing fixes for those bugs.

      What makes you people happy?
