  • WWDC 2009 Banner Unveiled at Moscone West

    With only a few days left for WWDC, Apple has unveiled the banner. From this years event tag-line, it seems that the whole event will be surrounding AppStore. The tag-line says:

    One year later. Light-years ahead.
    AppStore has been the biggest success story in mobile industry last year and recently. With over 45,00 apps, the downloads have exceeded 1 billion - in just NINE months of it's public release!

    Besides lab sessions, the new firmware will also gain prominence in the keynote - to be delivered by Phil Schiller on June 8th - and is expected to release immediately after the keynote, given the early support provided in iTunes 8.2, just released.

      Received an mms today and thought to myself "dammit why doesn't this phone support mms" Then I remembered 3.0 and just sort of smiled. This new firmware cannot get here fast enough!

      Do you guys know if anything could go wrong if i just update to 3.0 from a 2.2.1 jailbroken firmware? I mean this will obviously take away my jailbreak. Would it be a good idea to restore to 3.0?

      Wow, I did not realize that it was so close. Especially with E3 pretty much wrapping up Monday may not be that bad now!!

      ^^ Restore to 3.0, you will have less problems. Then jailbreak with the hijacked quickpwn.

      hey, you've already got an iPhone right? waiting a month can't kill you!!! i've been without an iPhone since February and don't have the money for buying a new 3G, I'll just wait... hopefully.

      If your referring to when 3.0 is officially released, a full restore will definitely give you less buggy issues. But if you meant upgrading right now using the 3.0 beta, you'll want to make sure your UUID is registered under a dev account before even thinking of downloading the beta.

      Wasnt sure if you meant after 3.0 was officially released though.

      Well how sad am i, until last march i was a stansh anti-apple person who was definately a PC.

      Now 15 month later, i have a iphone 3g, the wife has my old iphone 2g, we`ve ditched the toshiba laptop for a black macbook and i spend my time spotting macbooks on TV.....

      I`m off work monday as well WOOHOO as i work night shift, won`t be in until monday night with hopefully a fully working 3.0 firmware on my iphone.....

      counting down the hours and minutes...
