  • Apple supposedly patches Jailbreak Vulnerability in iOS 9.3 Beta 5
    .
According to sources the iOS 9.3 Jailbreak has unfortunately been secured by Apple in the latest Beta 5. Sources say, Apple engineers have been working hard to secure iOS 9.3 and patch any open vulnerabilities to it's operating system and future updates to it's operating system.

It is unknown as to how Apple has found the hole to patch it's iOS up and whether sources are correct at this point in time, however ModMyi will let you know if there are any updates on this article.

iOS 9.3 Jailbreak has supposedly been in the works by the team at Pangu since the beta stages became available for iOS. Apple has been taking measures in making its devices and products virtually impenetrable by outside entities. This could certainly endanger the jaibreaking business as fans know it.

It appears that the long-awaited Apple iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak tool won't arrive any sooner. In fact, it might not arrive at all. With the Apple iOS 9.3 dawning upon users, there remains no indication of a jailbreak coming out.

A couple of months back, there were reports that Pangu was close to putting out the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak. Unfortunately, the team encountered a setback that put them all the way back to square one. TaiG has been particularly mum about their project as well.

I guess we will just wait and see how everything pans out, what are your thoughts on this?

Considering what we were told, the amount of jailbreakers are allegedly a fraction of Apple's customers. No, it won't cost them any significant money.. just loose change

But because of Apple's ecosystem, if you don't have an iPhone, having other Apple devices becomes inconvenient at best. If I didn't have the jailbreak, I wouldn't use an iPhone or an iPad for that matter. If I didn't have an iPhone, I can't get an Apple Watch. If I don't have an iPad or an iPhone, I'd be much more inclined to get a PC when it comes time to upgrade my MacBook.

My point is, while we jailbreakers are a minuscule portion of the iPhone customer base, we're usually die-hard Integrated in the Apple ecosystem. Thus, what may seem like simply losing a million? or so iPhone customers can actually turn into hundreds of millions of dollars in all the other products and services that could go with them. And let's not even talk about us being some of their more savvy customers, providing a stark contrast to the stereotypical "sheeple" that Apple customers are so often accused of being.

Maybe the FBI should approach the Pangu Team about breaking into that phone.

I still think your numbers are off. Also, me using my MacBook and Apple TV are not dependent on having an iPhone, let alone a jail broken one.

"It is unknown as to how Apple has found the hole to patch" Remember the $1,000,000 bounty paid to the hackers for the recent JB contest?

Are you suggesting that Apple paid a mil for bugs? I highly doubt it.

You can ask that to 95% of 700,000,000 people.
