'Cello' Brings 3D Touch-Based Media Contextual Items to the iPhone 6s/6s Plus & More
Those of you with an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus that are enjoying the 3D Touch display can now take advantage of a new jailbreak tweak in Cydia called Cello
by iOS developer Pat Sleuth. This tweak adds 3D Touch and swipe gesture menus to the Music application in iOS 9, giving you more features than Apple would have given you on the 3D Touch maiden voyage.
Shown above, you can see how the tweak uses 3D Touch to give you contextual menus for choosing what you want to do next with a song that you firmly press on. These features include playing the song up next, adding it to a playlist, removing it as a download, making the song available offline, and even deleting the song.
The swipe menu, which works on non-iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices, is also shown above, and also shows additional options as you can see.
You can watch the developer's demonstration video of Cello below and decide for your yourself if Cello is something you'd like to add to your jailbreak tweak arsenal on your jailbroken iOS 9 device:
If you're interested in giving Cello a try, you can download it from Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for 99¢. The tweak has options to configure in the Settings application so that you can fine-tune its features for your own personal liking.
