How to Enable the iOS 9 Photo Scrubber on Unsupported iOS 9 Devices With a Jailbreak
iOS 9 came with multiple improvements to the Photos application to improve the way you digest and view your photographs. One of the major new features is the introduction of the photo scrubber, which you see at the bottom of the screenshot above.
The photo scrubber allows you to quickly pan through all of your photographs by just tapping and dragging through all of the photographs that appear in the photo scrubber. As you drag, the live photograph preview changes to whatever photograph that your finger is currently landed on top of.
Unfortunately, the feature is limited to newer devices with stronger hardware and larger screens, so users of the iPhone 4s, iPod touch 5g, iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad mini are unable to take advantage of the photo scrubber, and that's why iOS developer PoomSmart has just released a new free jailbreak tweak called PhotoScrubber
PhotoScrubber enables the photo scrubber on all unsupported iOS 9 devices so that no one has to live with Apple's limitations and so you too can have the Photos application experience that you deserve.
The tweak doesn't come with any options to configure and it's available free of cost in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. You must be running iOS 9 to download and use the tweak.
