  • More iPhone 4G White Casing Images

Chinese iPhone parts suppliers are apparently now shipping the white 4G case to their purchasers. Melech518, one of our uses who runs an iPhone repair shop here in Tampa, has received the parts just this morning.

We've seen the 4G white casing surface previously, but now we're seeing actual pieces showing up in the US.

The website iPhonePortugal has got a video showing the same pieces in nice high resolution.

Melech let's us know the digitizer (glass) is much thinner than the 3G/3G[S], and the mid-frame is a solid piece of aluminum pre-cut for inner components. Check back with us when we cover WWDC live on June 7th for the keynote to put some proof or shame to all this.

Finally, Apple changes the ugly-*** black outline around the LCD! Hope to see multi-colored iPhones or at least a White iPod Touch just like this (256GB or 500GB models? )

Some more pics for all the "haters" out there. Check out the serials and Apple on the flex.

It is Real. It is Now. It is the iPhone 4G.

That is all
Count me, my wife, my son and my brother in to those that have not had any overheating problems. We have all had iPhones since they came out (all versions) and none have heated to the point I would consider overheating.

I think you estimate of 3% is quite off.

I like to be surprised, and this leak ruins the possibility of being surprised at WWDC 2010, if this is the device unveiled.

funny; one day I hoped for a leak, the next day I wished to never have seen it.

our of the 51,234,000 total iphone units sold, 3% is approx 1537020 units which is quite a lot.

i was kidding about the "3%", but the heating problem is very real, me being a heavy user, I experience it quite a bit.

but still with what we know about apple .. this looks like some back yard hack job lol
Really? You think it's "cheap" to design and mass manufacture identical "fake" bodies that are popping-up all over the place? Very unlikely. This is probably 99% accurate. I'm leaving the 1% off til June 7th. :/

easier to open for removable battery? i couldnt see another reason to have those lines other than for functionality because apple wouldnt put these for no reason or for design.

lol just imagine if steve jobs is like "gotcha! we thought te 3g design was perfect and didnt need to change! so we're keeping the same design!" man i would be so pissed at apple i wouldnt update.

What i meant was that i feel that what we are seeing is just hacked together . Sorry that I didn't explain myself better haha

For the record i will state:

I like all the iphones i have had or I would have never Laid down that kind of money.

And I will do it again once the new one Comes out.

For me I view it like this. I found a phone that i like and im sticking with it.

The new design looks awesome as im sure the Phone will be as well.

guess they moved the light sensor ??

oh great...i have never broken a glass on my first gen or 3g, and now they say it is much thinner than before. That is one thing that did not need to be trimmed down!

I need Steve Jobs to announce it.
I must admit it does look real, but we'll see.
As a computer, the design makes sense, but as a phone? All those sharp edges are not something I want in my hand / pocket.
I'm sure it will sell like hot cakes, but I'm not sure I'll be getting one.

I too am really hoping this is real. I simply LOVE the look of the white there. I, for one, really like the look of this phone. Whether it is the real deal or a mock-up it looks damn good to me. A mix between the old ipod and a modern macbook pro.

I was in my local Rogers store yesterday, and asked the sales rep if he knew when the new sexy 4G iPhones would be coming in, and he told me that there would be no sexy 4g phone this year, but we would be getting a 64GB 3GS instead. Also said that the 4G would get released for 2011. I hope he's wrong, and if he is, definitely not going back with Rogers.
