We won't have to wait much longer before Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveils the 4th generation iPhone at the 2010 WWDC. But if reports published today prove accurate, we also won't have to wait much longer for the iPhone to reach those of us eager and ready to get our hands on the upgraded handset.

According to a Boy Genius Report generating buzz across the web today, AT&T has reportedly confirmed (to some employees) that the long awaited, much hyped new iPhone will not only be introduced next month, but that its availability could similarly be widespread by the end of next month. This tidbit seems to fall in line with a previous report indicating that AT&T is not allowing employee vacations during the month of June, an obvious hint that things may get a little busy next month.

In previous years of iPhone releases, AT&T has similarly implemented a vacation block during roll-out months. So if the latest reports are true, expect the Apple website to go offline during the start of WWDC 2010. By the end of the keynote address, the ability to order the new iPhone could be established on the updated site.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs will likely unveil the 4th-generation iPhone on June 7th to kick off the company's Worldwide Developers Conference in beautiful San Francisco, California.
