Popular Spotify Music-streaming iOS App Updated With Ability to Save Entire Albums
On Monday, the highly popular Spotify music-streaming application for the iOS platform received an update with some new features for users and additional support for new languages. The latest version of Spotify that can now be downloaded from the App Store is version 1.6.0.
In the update, the most notable new feature is that you can now save entire albums, and not just individual songs, to your music library. This is done by searching for an artist's album that you really enjoy, and then tapping on the new "Save" button underneath the album's title, as pictured above.
Saved music can be played offline when there is no Internet connection, so many people will enjoy using this feature for keeping their favorite music on them at all times.
Additionally, the update brings support for the Finnish language.
Existing users of the Spotify application for iOS will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Spotify for iOS for free from this App Store link
Note: You can use Spotify free of cost, but you can listen to ad-free music if you subscribe for a $9.99 monthly subscription to Spotify Premium. If you're a student, you may qualify for a $4.99 monthly subscription.
