This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most notable. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the Pangu version 1.1.0 jailbreak
for iOS 7.1.x.
1. MessageEnhancer – FREE
For those of you that do a lot of text messaging on your iOS devices, whether it's SMS or iMessage, you might be able to benefit from a tweak called MessageEnhancer
. It's a free tweak that adds a ton of features and options to your Messages application in iOS 7. You can enable and disable features, configure how things look, and even configure behavior of several functions in the application. You can read more about MessageEnhancer via our full review of the tweak at this link
2. Lumos – FREE
Also worth checking out is Lumos
, a new jailbreak tweak that puts a flashlight toggle button directly on your Lock Screen so that you have instant access to the flashlight when you need it without having to open Control Center to use it. You can customize the button's appearance and positioning on the Lock Screen too. You can read our full review on Lumos at this link
3. panicLockPro – 99¢
If you're paranoid that someone's going to get into your device and open your private applications, then you may want to take a moment to invest in a tweak called panicLockPro
. This Activator gesture-based tweak lets you choose applications that you want to lock people out of. When someone gets ahold of your device when panicLockPro is enabled, when they try to open an application that you have locked them out of, the application will appear to crash. Applications that you have not locked them out of will open as usual, making it look like a software problem and not a security tweak. You can read our full review of panicLockPro at this link
4. BlurryBar – FREE
For those that like modifying the appearance of iOS 7, BlurryBar
is definitely worth checking out. This tweak goes well with colorful wallpapers on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. It will blur the colors behind it to give your Status Bar a cool aesthetic appearance. You can customize the blur effect however you want to. The developer notes that the tweak uses Apple's iOS 7-native blur technique, so it's a low-power blur with a nice native look to it. You can read our full review of BlurryBar at this link
5. BlurryBadges – FREE
Last, but not least for this week's best tweaks is a new free jailbreak tweak called BlurryBadges
. The tweak uses the same blur tactic for your application icon badges as BlurryBar does for your Status Bar. Fortunately, the tweaks work nicely together. This is a great way to modify the ugly red application icon badges on your iOS 7 devices, and it comes with plenty of options to modify the appearance of your application icon badges.
