If you've enjoyed BlurryBar and AppColorClose, then you might also like adding a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed BlurryBadges by iOS developer PoomSmart to your jailbreak tweak arsenal.
BlurryBadges will blur and colorize your application icon badges on your Home Screen, App Switcher, and even in folders in iOS 7. Rather than the bland red application icon badge, this allows you to have different colored application icon badges, with customizable user interface elements. You can see BlurryBadges working together with BlurryBar and AppColorClose in the screenshot example above to give iOS 7 a colorful Home Screen look.
The tweak will add a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure its options to your liking:
From here, you can configure how defined the badge border will be, what color the badge border will be, the tint alpha of the badge, and whether or not to use the native iOS 7 blur effect on your application icon badges.
For the border size, you can pick from any of the following:
- No border
For the border color, you can pick from any of the following:
BlurryBadges adds a nice bit of color to your Home Screen whenever you have any notifications waiting for you, and because it uses iOS 7's native blur effect, it will blend in nicely with all of the rest of your iOS 7 user interface.
If you want to give BlurryBadges a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. iOS 7 is required for the installation.
