'BrightPlayer' Adds a Brightness Slider to Your Video Playing Interface
How often do you find yourself watching a video and can't see the dark shadows because your display brightness is too dark? If you find yourself with this problem often, and hate that you can't just easily turn up your display brightness without opening Control Center or your display settings, then you'll love a new free jailbreak tweak called BrightPlayer
by iOS developer evilgoldfish.
With BrightPlayer, you'll never need to open another interface in the middle of your video ever again. The tweak adds a standalone brightness slider right to your video playing interface, as shown above.
The slider on the right side of the interface is your brightness slider, while the usual slider on the left side of the interface is your volume slider.
You can see that without the tweak installed, there is no brightness slider to be spoken of:
With faster access to the control of your display brightness while watching videos, we believe that BrightPlayer offers some potential for those that like watching videos. It only works in specific applications, so this is something to keep in mind.
If you would like to give BrightPlayer a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. iOS 7 is required for the installation.
