  • Five WinterBoard Themes for iOS 7 That Are Worth Checking Out July 13th Edition

If you feel like it's time to spice up your iOS 7 device with a new theme, then we've got a few neat new themes to show you. On July 6th, we showed you five cool WinterBoard themes to check out, and we're always looking for more awesome themes to show you!

For now, here are five more awesome WinterBoard themes that are worth checking out for your iOS 7 device. These aren't in any specific order, but they're all worthy of recognition. Check them out!

    1. Laguna 3 for iOS 7 $2.99

The first theme that we'll be showing you today is called Laguna 3 for iOS 7 by minhtrimatrix. This theme takes your flat iOS 7 icons and turns them into graphical works of art. It's more of a skeuomorphic theme, so you'll want to install IconOmatic to get the proper shadowing for each application icon. The theme includes a large number of crisp application icons for your device that look beautiful and radiate hard work. The theme comes with plenty of new wallpapers to go along with the new application icons, and small features of the iOS 7 user interface are also given an aesthetic boost, such as the buttons in Control Center, the buttons in your Phone application's keypad, and more.

Be sure to check out our video walk-through of Laguna 3 for iOS 7 below:

    2. Lucidity $2.99

Next up, we'll be showing you Lucidity by EverthingApplesPro. This theme keeps iOS 7's flat appearance, but beefs it up a little bit with some three-dimensional features sort of like a flat/skeuomorphic hybrid. The theme includes over 100 new application icons for both the stock application icons, and several third-party App Store application icons. 9 all-new wallpapers are included to go along with the application icons and several parts of the iOS 7 user interface is given a facelift, including icons in the Settings application, Status Bar elements, Safari navigation bars, and much more. It's a nice new skin for iOS 7, so take a look!

    3. YarisOS theme FREE

Also worthy of recognition is a free theme called YarisOS theme by hnx1gu0. This theme keeps everything looking flat like you would expect in iOS 7, but it makes everything look a whole lot better than you're used to seeing. The theme supports IconOmatic for icon shadowing, and it supports more than 460 application icons both stock and third-party from the App Store. For a free theme, this option definitely gives basic users a broad spectrum of supported application icons and is easy to recommend.

The theme uses a glass overlay to smooth out your icons. The theme also comes with a nice dots theme for your cellular signal dots, as well as different options for how to make your application icons look. It's worth checking out, and because it's free, you won't be at a loss if you choose to go with something else!
