  • 'RendaryaHD' Brings Powerful Photo Editing Tools to Your iPad's Photos App

Back in April, we showed you a really cool jailbreak tweak called Rendarya by iOS developer iMokhles that brought a number of powerful photo-editing tools to the Photos application on your iPhone or iPod touch. This included tools such as:

    • Filters
    • Adjustments
    • Effects
    • Blur and Focus
    • Rotations
    • Cropping
    • Re-sizing
    • Tone Curves
    • Stickers
    • Emoticons
    • Adding Text

If you liked these features, but you were sad to see that they were restricted only to iPhone and iPod touch users, then today is your lucky day. iMokhles has made available RendaryaHD in Cydia starting today in order to bring these fabulous photo-editing features to the iPad.

Rendarya comes with a slew of options that even puts Apple's higher photo control in iOS 8 to shame. The tweak gives you great control over how each of your photos will look, and lets you fine-tune them so that they appear better.

The tweak will add a preferences pane to your Settings application where you can enable or disable each of the individual features of the tweak:

To see more of these features in-deth, you can read our iPhone and iPod touch review of Rendarya, as the features are just about the same with the obvious UI changes to match the iPad.

The tweak works on iPad 2 and later, and the iPad Mini included. It requires iOS 7 to be installed.

RendaryaHD is normally a $2.99 purchase from Cydia's BigBoss repository, but if you own Rendarya already, RendaryaHD is only a $1.49 upgrade. If you would like to grab it, it's available now.

    Name: RendaryaHD
Price: $2.99 ($1.49 for those that own Rendarya)
    Version: 1.0-1
Requirements: iPad or iPad Mini running iOS 7.0-7.1.1
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: iMokhles
    Editor's Rating: / 4.5/5

It's been a long while since I relied on the iPad to do serious tasks, but shouldn't these tools already be available? iPad has been around for a along time now, and the tools included in this app are far from powerful. Maybe they will become stock in iOS 12, I can see it now "We've made the iPad Quantum more powerful with new photo enhancing features including rotate, crop, and filters. You know the same features that's been available on the iPhone for the last decade"
