'Notific8' Gives Your iOS 7 Notification Center an iOS 8 Makeover
If you've seen Notification Center in iOS 8, then you know it's much nicer than Notification Center in iOS 7. A new free jailbreak tweak called Notific8 by iOS developer Sticktron is now available in Cydia that gives your iOS 7 Notification Center an iOS 8 Notification Center makeover. Check it out!
The tweak removes the "Missed" and "All" tabs in Notification Center and replaces them with a "Notifications" tab. The "Today" tab remains, but as you can see, it has been modified to look better with a new header design, and a new button that will give you quick access to your Notification Center preferences pane in the Settings application.
A before and after image can be seen below:
Notific8 also adds a new "Edit" button to the bottom of Notification Center that makes it easy to get to your Notification Center preferences pane in the Settings application:
The tweak adds a preferences pane to your Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand, as well as choose to hide the attribution text from Notification Center:
When you make changes to these preferences, it is necessary to respring your device to save the changes.
If you would like to give your iOS 7 device an iOS 8-style Notification Center, then check out Notific8 in Cydia today. It's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository and requires iOS 7 to be installed.
