Apple Releases OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks, Safari 6.1.5 and OS X Server 3.2 Beta Seeds
A new batch of betas for developers were issue recently for upcoming OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks maintenance update and Safari 6.1.5 with small changes. Build 13E16 from latest OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks comes only a few weeks after the first beta was released in May. Developers were requested to focus on Graphics Drivers and Safari, which mirrors OS X 10.9.3 betas. However, extra areas of interest include Finder, Bluetooth, App Store and Audio Drivers.
Product identifiers found unknown iMac models in code regarding power management utilities in the previous seed of Apple’s Mavericks maintenance update. ‘iMac15,1’ and ‘iMac15n’ suggest that the company may be debuting a minimum of two next-generation all-in-ones sometime soon. Currently, the iMacs only hold ’14,1’, ’14,3’, and ’14,3’ designations.
Apple’s release notes ask developers to focus on extension compatibility and general website compatibility for the Safari 6.1.5 seed. Apple has also seeded the newest OS X Server builds that support OS X 10.9.4, but it does not seem like any major changes and updates were made. The latest build can be downloaded by developers via Software Update or Apple’s Developer Portal.
