  • New Mac Pro Shipping Estimates Finally Reach a Fair 24 Hours

Since its release, we've been keeping on eye on the shipping estimates of Apple's new Mac Pro. This powerhouse computer has been hard to get your hands on due to the huge surge of demand and limited supply Apple is building these machines right here in the United States.

Last month, the shipping estimates online for getting one of these machines improved to 1-2 weeks, but on Wednesday, the shipping estimates have finally reached a very fair 24 hours. This is the fastest shipping estimate ever recorded on Apple's Web site since the release of the Mac Pro last year.

There are two models of the Mac Pro available on Apple's Web site; the lower-end Mac Pro comes with a quad-core 3.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor, 12GB of 1866MHz DDR3 memory, dual AMD FirePro D300 video cards with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM each, and 256GB PCIe-based flash storage for the price tag of $2999.

The higher-end Mac Pro comes with a 6-core 3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor, 16GB of 1866MHz DDR3 memory, dual AMD FirePro D500 video cards with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each, and 256GB PCIe-based flash storage for the price tag of $3999.

Further customized configurations to the machines will only increase the prices, but they come with multiple Thunderbolt 2 ports that can be used to further expand the hardware capabilities, such as additional storage, multiple displays, and much more.

For information on how to order your Mac Pro, you can head over to Apple's Web Site.
