When on your iOS 7 Lock Screen, you normally swipe to the left to unlock your device. Swiping to the right would usually not do anything.
If you'd like to make use of swiping to the right with a handy new feature, then check out this new free jailbreak tweak called Look Locked
by iOS developer rjharris. It will allow you to choose some of your favorite Web sites and then swipe to the right on the Lock Screen to access them, as shown above.
The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure all of its options:
The options you can manage include choosing the number of favorite Web sites you want to have (you can have up to 10) and then typing in the URLs for each of the Web sites that you've designated as your favorites.
You will also be able to enable an option called Per Page Priorities, which will change the preferences pane around a little bit so that you can configure the order that the Web pages appear on your Lock Screen when you swipe to the right:
The first time that you swipe to the right, you will find your first Web page, and then when you swipe to the right again, you will find your second Web page, and so on...
Getting back to the main preferences pane – you will also find an option to configure the timeout period. If a Web site fails to load after your designated period of time, your screen will dim and your device will return to sleep mode. The default value for the timeout period is 30 seconds.
You can also choose whether or not there will be a navigation bar, and choose to configure this setting on a per-page basis. For example, you might want the navigation bar on ModMyi, but not necessarily Apple's Web site. And lastly, you'll find the ability to clear a Web page as you dismiss it (you can configure this on a per-page basis as well).
For certain, if you're just looking for a quick way to peek at a Web site, such as as news site, sports site, or something else that's constantly changing so that you can see what's new, this is a great way to just access that site from your Lock Screen without the bother of unlocking your iOS device.
The only real complaint that we have is that the interface isn't really as polished as we would like. On the other hand, it does function alright. You can swipe to scroll through the Web pages and directly access Web pages quickly from your Lock Screen.
If you'd like to give Look Locked a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now.
