iOS 8 Out to Developers Today, Will Be Available to Public for Free in the Fall
On Monday at WWDC 2014, Apple unveiled iOS 8
and a number of the new features that it would come with out of the box. Apple also announced OS X 10.10 Yosemite
, the new Swift programming language
, and many other impressive new software creations.
With Apple having announced earlier that OS X 10.10 Yosemite would be available as a developer preview for developers starting today and officially released to the public this Fall, we figured we'd also let you know that iOS 8 is going to follow the same guidelines.
iOS 8 is being prepared to be available for developers as a developer preview starting today, and like Yosemite, it will be available to the public some time in the Fall as a free upgrade from your existing iOS operating system version.
iOS 8 has a few months of beta testing to go through before it can be released. With all of the new features that were unveiled in the new mobile operating system, there is a lot of room for bugs that will need to be fixed and finalized before the release is ready for mass-installation from the public.
