New Leaked Photo of iPhone 6 Shell Surfaces
, an Australian blog, has reported on a photo of what they say is a rear shell from the upcoming dubbed iPhone 6. The photos allegedly came from a source inside the supply chain. Rumors have been surfacing online about two different sized iPhone 6ís, a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch model. The leaked photo is supposedly for the smaller, 4.7-inch model.
The shell seems to line up with other recent rumors, including some leaked dummies that designed for case companies to work with. The dubbed iPhone 6 is expected to release sometime this fall, likely in September. It is also supposed to come with the new iOS 8 operating system Apple will be introducing at WWDC next week.
The shell in the leaked photo features rounded corners, a larger size than the current iPhone 5s, two antenna breaks at the top and bottom, and a circular cutout for the LED flash. The case seems to have a protective plastic coating and some silver coloring between the camera and flash cutouts. This could possibly suggest that the case in the leaked photo is made for the silver iPhone 6 model.
