'SevenShare' Adds a Share Widget to Your iOS 7 Notification Center
In iOS 6, you had some share buttons in Notification Center that you could tap on to share to Facebook or to Share to Twitter, but Apple seems to have axed this feature in iOS 7.
If you miss those share widgets in Notification Center, and you're running iOS 7 on a jailbroken device, then you're in luck. A new free Notification Center add-on called SevenShare
by iOS development team HASHBANG Productions is now available in Cydia to bring these buttons, and MORE, back.
The SevenShare widget is shown above in iOS 7's Notification Center.
When we say, "and MORE," we mean MORE. While the share widget in iOS 6 only gave you the ability to bring up a stock Tweet sheet or a Post sheet for either Twitter or Facebook, SevenShare gives you this AND the ability to quickly compose a text message or iMessage. And what's more is, it's fully compatible with quick-compose tweaks like auki, biteSMS, and TwitkaFly.
While the widget itself doesn't have any options to configure, it does add an entry into the Notification Center preferences pane where you can drag the widget in or out of Notification Center on demand, thus enabling or disabling it on demand:
If you want to give SevenShare a shot, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The add-on does require iOS 7 to be installed.
