How to Add a Clear Task Manager Widget to Your Installation of ProWidgets
If you use the popular Clear task management application for iOS, and you're also a fan of the popular ProWidgets widget platform
for iOS 7 by iOS developer Alan Yip that we showed you a couple of months ago, then you'll be happy to hear that there is now a way to use ProWidgets with Clear by way of a new add-on for ProWidgets.
The new add-on is called Clear for ProWidgets
by iOS developer Julian Weiss. With it, you can create Tasks for the Clear application.
A Close button is provided to you at the top left of the widget to cancel anything you input, while an Add button is provided to you at the top right of the widget so you can add whatever you put into the widget to the Clear application. You will also notice a lists button at the bottom of the widget that allows you to choose what list you want to add the Clear reminder under. You can create your own lists from the widget too.
As explained in our original review of ProWidgets, there are several different ways of opening different widgets via the platform. If you’re an Activator fan, then you can assign an Activator action to Clear for ProWidgets. Alternatively, you can use CCLoader to add a quick shortcut to Control Center, or you can configure some of the built-in ProWidgets shortcuts for Notification Center without installing more tweaks like we did below:
It's worth mentioning that Clear for ProWidgets uses Clear's own API for the smoothest usage you can ask for, and it's also an open-source tweak, so you can view the source code for it on Github via this link
Clear for ProWidgets is a free download from Cydia's BigBoss repository, but to use it, you will need ProWidgets and iOS 7. If you don't already have ProWidgets, it's a $2.99 purchase from Cydia's BigBoss repository. You also won't be able to use the widget if you don't have the Clear application installed from the App Store, which is another $4.99 purchase from this App Store link
