'SafariBlur' Blurs the Mobile Safari Card in the iOS 7 App Switcher
In the event that you may have been searching for something very personal and haven't closed your Mobile Safari Web surfing session just yet, you might worry that when you open the iOS 7 App Switcher that someone is going to see a small preview of whatever it was that you might have been looking up – but hopefully, it's nothing too
If you do worry about small things like this, then a new free jailbreak tweak called SafariBlur
by iOS developer switchpwn is now available in Cydia that will blur the Mobile Safari preview card in the iOS 7 App Switcher so that you won't be able to make out images or text in the application preview card.
Although a recently-released jailbreak tweak called SwitcherBlur
will do this for all applications in the iOS 7 App Switcher, its blur effect isn't as strong and you can still make out some images, and sometimes even text. SafariBlur, on the other hand, gives you such a strong blur that you won't be able to make out what's on that Mobile Safari Web page.
The popular PayPal application for iOS already does something like this so that people can't see your personal information when you background the application, but now, you can also bring this kind of security to your Mobile Safari application.
If you would like to give SafariBlur a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. There are no options to configure, and you must be running iOS 7. It's worth mentioning that the tweak is fully compatible with Auxo 2.
