Weather information seems to be a luxury that many of us like to have on our iOS device, so it makes sense that we could do with quick and easy access to the current weather information in a snap.
A new jailbreak tweak called QuickWeather
by iOS developers Ben Rosen and Phillip Tennen is now available in Cydia that lets you invoke an Activator action to immediately see the weather conditions outside in your current location. Being that the tweak uses Activator, you will need to have Activator installed to use the tweak – if it's not installed already, it will be when you try to install QuickWeather.
Shown above, you can see what appears when you invoke the Activator action of your choice. It's basically a alert-style notification that shows you the current temperature outside in Fahrenheit, as well as the weather conditions outside. In this case, it says "Fair," but the weather conditions can also say something like, "Partly Cloudy," or "Mostly Sunny."
QuickWeather will not add a preferences pane to the Settings application, but you will be able to go to the Activator preferences pane and choose an Activator action that you want to use for showing you the Weather information in a snap:
It is work mentioning that you MUST enable location services for the stock Weather application on your iOS device for this tweak to work correctly.
QuickWeather is a nice way to get to your weather information quickly without stumbling around your Home Screen for your Weather application, or some alternative. Not to mention, the interface is pretty clean and to the point. If you would like to give the tweak a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for a dollar. The tweak does require iOS 7 to be installed
