'StaticLock' Removes All Movement and Sliding to Unlock From the iOS 7 Lock Screen
If you use an Activator action to unlock your iOS device and you want to completely disable the ability to drag on the iOS 7 Lock Screen either to disable the bounce or disable sliding to unlock, then a new free jailbreak tweak called StaticLock
by iOS developer drewsdunne is for you.
*Notably, if you're not using an alternative way to unlock your iOS device, such as Activator, then you shouldn't install this tweak – we did, and we found that there was no way to unlock our device, so we had to reboot our iOS device into safe mode just to get back in, as the tweak disables the native slide to unlock on the iOS 7 Lock Screen.*
If you have an Activator action of some kind set up so that you can unlock your iOS device, then you can go ahead and install this tweak. Once installed, you will notice that the iOS 7 Lock Screen will no longer respond to touch. There will be no more bouncing from tapping or swiping to the left, and there will be no sliding to unlock by swiping to the right.
The idea behind the tweak is pretty simple – eliminate one unnecessary feature for those that use an alternative way to unlock their iOS devices.
If you would like to give StaticLock a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. Please take our warning and do not install this tweak until you have first configured an alternative Activator action to unlock your Lock Screen. The tweak is compatible with iOS 7 devices, whether they're 32-bit or 64-bit. There are no options to configure.
