'SaveGram' Lets You Easily Save Pictures From Your Instagram Feed
If you're an Instagram user, then you could probably benefit from the ability to actually save media from your Instagram photo and video stream. Unfortunately, Instagram doesn't allow you to do this, and you'll have to take a screenshot that then eventually crop the screenshot later on.
A new free jailbreak tweak called SaveGram
by iOS developer Julian Weiss is now available in Cydia that allows you to save media from your Instagram feed right from the application itself.
As shown above, SaveGram adds a new option to the "Share" button called "Save." When you tap on it, the media that you're looking at will be saved to your Camera Roll in the Photos application.
SaveGram is fully compatible with the latest version of Instagram (version 5.0.8) and works on all iOS 7 devices. If you would like to give it a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. It doesn't have any options to configure.
Notably, SaveGram is an open source jailbreak tweak, and its source code can be viewed on GitHub at this link
