'GesturesPlus' Fixes the Goofed-up App-closing Gesture on iPads in iOS 7
Going unnoticed by some eyes, the animation that happens when you are closing out of an application that you're in on an iPad by pinching with four fingers apparently has a glitch in it that causes the application icons behind the application preview to come together before the application actually has a chance to close.
iOS developer Bensge has released a new free jailbreak tweak called GesturesPlus
that aims to fix this problem. The developer notes that the issue was fixed in iOS 7.1 and that this tweak is essentially a fix for this same problem on iPads running iOS 7.0-7.0.6.
Shown above, you can see how before the tweak is installed, the application icons seem to approach the center of the display before the application fully exits the screen. On the other hand, when the tweak is installed, the application icons won't approach the center of the display until the application fully exits the screen.
The developer notes that iPhone and iPod touch users can use this tweak in combination with Auxo 2
to fix a similar animation issue.
GesturesPlus is an open source jailbreak tweak, and you can view the source code on Github at this link
If you would like to give GesturesPlus a try and see what all the hype is about, you can download it for free from Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7.0-7.0.6 to be installed.
