OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Build 13D33 Seeded to Developers
The fifth OS X 10.9.3 Mavericks beta was issued recently by Apple to developers. The testers were asked to focus on Safari, graphics, audio, and the restored iTunes contacts and calendar syncing over USB. The latest dubbed 13D33 build was released just one week after the prior seeded in late March. Apple’s current pre-release software has similar testing areas of focus as the one seeded in March.
The focus areas are the usual iTunes contacts and calendar synchronization, Audio, Safari, and Graphics Drivers. Mail is also included in the list of focus areas and is something the company has charted since the Mavericks launch in October. Pixel-doubling scaling support was added in the previous OS X 10.9.3. This suggests that the update will bring something called a Retina output mode for users. It connects users’ late 2013-MacBook Pro with Retina display to external 4K monitors.
Dubbed build 13D33 is available for download to developers via Software Update or from Apple’s Developer Portal.
