  • 'ReplaceBlurs' Modifies the iOS 7 Blur Effect for a Desirable Effect

In iOS 7, there are a lot of different elements of the operating system that call for blurs. One of the more well-known elements are the iOS 7 folders, shown above.

The blur can be so overwhelming that you can hardly even see your wallpaper behind the folder. If you would like to modify the blur to look more aesthetically desirable, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak called ReplaceBlurs by iOS developer perascotta.

Shown above, ReplaceBlurs makes the blur effect in certain iOS 7 elements much less overwhelming and makes it so that it's still there, but not so much that you can't even see your wallpaper behind it.

ReplaceBlurs doesn't have any options to configure and if you'd like to give the tweak a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. You must be running iOS 7 to install the tweak.
