  • Apple TV Scores ACC Sports in Time for March Madness

In a major score for Apple, Apple TV will be able to provide NCAA Tournament coverage through a pretty sweet deal reached with the ACC Conference.

In case you haven't checked out your Apple TV lineup today, there's a new channel available. The ACC Sports channel is now ready for college sports fans to enjoy.

"We are pleased to announce this partnership that will allow our fans access to the ACC Digital Network on their Apple TV," ACC Commissioner John Swofford said in a statement. "We have seen terrific success in fans enjoying the ACC Digital Network, and bringing this content to Apple TV is an exciting next step."

From start to finish, March Madness coverage on Apple TV will be fairly comprehensive and serve up everything from pre-game shows to post-game analysis and other exclusive content. For Apple, the addition of this particular channel is viewed as significant in that it represents the growing understanding of top content providers that Apple is now a major player in living room entertainment.

In recent months, the Apple TV lineup has continued to grow with the addition of channels spanning everything from the WWE Network to RedBull TV.
