'AlwaysHDREnabled' Keeps HDR Mode Enabled At All Times in the Camera App
There are a lot of benefits to using the built-in HDR mode that's available in Apple's Camera application. For one, it takes two photographs, one light and one dark, and then combines the two to ensure that the photo is neither too dark, nor too light.
With that being said, if you want the feature enabled at all times without the possibility of it being accidentally turned off without you knowing, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak called AlwaysHDREnabled
by iOS developer Milo Darling.
Once installed, the HDR mode in the Camera application will be turned on automatically:
The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can easily enable or disable the tweak on demand:
If at any time you want HDR mode disabled by default, then you can just disable this tweak here.
If you would like to give AlwaysHDREnabled a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.
