'Dbltaptoendfacetime' Makes You Double-tap the End Button in a FaceTime Call to End it
A couple of weeks ago, we had shown you a free jailbreak tweak that would force you to double-tap on the "End" button while in the middle of a phone call to end the phone call. The tweak was called Dbltaptoendcall
and was made by iOS developer Burt to help prevent accidental hangups from our faces touching the End button.
A new free jailbreak tweak is now available in Cydia called Dbltaptoendfacetime
by the same developer, and does the same thing, except for FaceTime calls instead of phone calls.
More than likely, while in the middle of a FaceTime call, our faces aren't going to be against our displays when we're in the middle of a FaceTime call, so it wouldn't be a very big worry that we'd accidentally tap on the end button with our cheek, but nonetheless, this tweak does help to keep us from accidentally ending a FaceTime call with our finger inadvertently touching the display right where the End button is (I've done that by mistake a few times myself, admittedly).
Dbltaptoendfacetime adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand:
If you install this tweak while your FaceTime application is open in the App Switcher, you may need to close out of the FaceTime application for this tweak to take effect. If you want to give Dbltaptoendfacetime a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.
