'ShareMemos' Gives You More Sharing Options for Your Voice Memos
From within Apple's Voice Memos application, which is commonly used for voice recordings such as class lectures, or for taking voice reminders that you'll listen to later, you can easily share the memos either by e-mail or text message/iMessage. Unfortunately, these are the only sharing options made available.
On the other hand, if you're jailbroken, then now you can have even more sharing options. A new free jailbreak tweak called ShareMemos
by iOS developer iOSDevT is now available in Cydia that adds a new "Open In" button to the iOS 7 share sheet and allows you to pick from various third-party applications.
The Open In button works with Dropbox, iFile, Droplr, WhatsApp, MessageMe, and several more applications. In this case, if we tapped on Dropbox, the voice memo would be uploaded to our Dropbox folder so we could access it from any of our Dropbox-enabled machines or devices.
ShareMemos adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand:
Obviously, this tweak will only be handy if you actually use the Voice Memos application that Apple gives you. If you do, then this tweak can be had right now for free from Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak supports both iOS 6 and iOS 7.
