You might be familiar with Define
, a Notification Center widget created by iOS developer ravirajm last year that allowed you to define words with the built-in iOS dictionary, but the developer has made a better, iOS 7-compatible version of Define dubbed Define for iOS 7
, and it's now available to download in Cydia.
Define for iOS 7 is a little different from the original Define. The new version uses Control Center, rather than Notification Center, and it is an add-on for the popular CCLoader framework.
When enabled, you will find a new Dictionary button in Control Center, as shown above. You can tap on it to bring up a text box where you can then enter a word or phrase that you wish to learn the meaning of. You then have the option of searching for the word using the built-in iOS dictionary, Wikipedia, or Thesaurus.com:
The add-on adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the Thesaurus feature, and you'll also be able to visit the CCLoader preferences pane to re-position the Define for iOS 7 add-on in Control Center, or enable or disable it outright:
With this handy little tweak installed, you can be ready anywhere, any time, for words or phrases that you don't know the meaning of. We can think of several instances where this tweak might come in handy – maybe you're a student doing an assignment and need to know the meaning of a word, or maybe your friend just said something that you didn't know the meaning of.

If you want to download and give Define for iOS 7 a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository for 99¢. It requires iOS 7 to be installed, and if CCLoader isn't installed on your iOS device already, it will be installed along with Define for iOS 7.
