  • 'NoLowPowerAlert' Disables Low Battery Alerts in iOS

When your iOS device reaches a battery level of 20% you will get an alert pop-up that tells you that you have Low Battery and only 20% of your battery remaining. This also happens at the 10% milestone, as shown above.

Since the battery percentage can be easily shown in the Status Bar, this alert is a bit redundant. Not only that, it gets in the way of whatever you're doing. A new free jailbreak tweak called NoLowPowerAlert by iOS developer hiroshit disables this pop-up that alerts you when you have a low battery level.

The only time this alert might even be remotely useful is when you're in a full-screen application and can't see the Status Bar in real time, but even then, if you really need to keep an eye on your Battery Percentage, all you have to do is pull down Notification Center from the full-screen application to see where your battery is at.

If you're looking to keep that Low Battery alert from popping up all over the place, NoLowPowerAlert is a great way to prevent it. The tweak is free in Cydia's BigBoss repository and it doesn't have any options to configure. Just install it, and you'll never deal with another one of those Low Battery pop-ups again.

Nice - I had something similar in iOS 6 and it's just one of the good reasons why I jailbreak.
