Getting fast access to useful system information has never been easier. Taking advantage of iOS 7's new Control Center feature, this new add-on called CCSystemStatus
by iOS developer vsnRainDev shows you miscellaneous information about your iOS device that you can find useful in a pinch, as shown above.
The first page shows you your Wi-Fi IP address, your cellular data IP address, the amount of free memory you have left, and the average system load. If you swipe to the next page of the addon, you'll be given the information shown below, which includes the Wi-Fi network name (SSID), your Wi-Fi MAC address, the amount of free space in the "/" directory, and the amount of free space in the "/var" directory:
CCSystemStatus puts a nicely designed icon next to each and every piece of information, so it has a nice clean appearance to it.
It's also an add-on for CCLoader, which means you can enable or disable it on demand, as well as move its position around from the CCLoader preferences pane, which is added to the Settings application after you install the add-on:
At this point in time, the add-on only supports iPhones and iPod touches, not iPads, but for a free tweak, it's still kind of a nice add-on to have. You can probably find the IP address information useful for instances when you want to SSH into your iOS device, and you'll probably like to keep on eye on your free memory, processes, and storage space just for the heck of it.
CCSystemStatus is available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository and requires that you have an iOS 7 device to be installed, as Control Center only ships on iOS 7.0 and later.
