'NoBlur' Removes the Blur Effect From the iOS 7 Lock Screen
Apple completely changed the lock screen in iOS 7, making it so that the Lock Screen shows off more of your wallpaper. Unfortunately, whenever you go to enter a passcode, or you get a notification, your wallpaper is blurred and darkened to make whatever is showing up more visible.
On the other hand, even without that blur and darkening there, your notifications and passcode buttons are still pretty easy to see and read, and you can still enjoy the effects of seeing your Lock Screen wallpaper at the same time, as a new free jailbreak tweak called NoBlur
by iOS developer xTheMaster3x proves.
Shown above, with NoBlur installed, you can get rid of that blur and darkening that occurs on the Lock Screen when you get a notification. It also works with the passcode buttons, as you can see below:
The tweak is easily enabled or disable via the NoBlur preferences pane in the Settings application:
NoBlur does a pretty good job of keeping you wallpaper clearly visible no matter what your Lock Screen conditions might be. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak does require iOS 7.
